Healing Grief Through Clay

Bethel Horizons – Art Ventures announces an opportunity to explore the medium of clay as one journeys through grief.  This hands-on experience will provide participants with ways of understanding the sorrow in their lives and be better able to discover the joy that God’s healing hands can give.

Catherine Russo, hand-building artist and LaFollette High School ceramics instructor will use her teaching skills and faith experiences as she designs and presents a clay project for all to explore.

Pastor Laura Sutherland, Bethel Lutheran Church, Pastor for Care Ministries, will also participate.  Pastor Laura will provide her expertise and insights of God’s healing love and grace.

Healing Grief Through Clay will take place on Saturday, October 24th at Bethel Horizons – Art Ventures’ new Adamah Clay Studio.  It is located north of Dodgeville on County ZZ.  The class will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.  The fee of $30 will cover a lunch, clay and studio time.

Saturday, Oct 24, 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Please contact Kathy Hunt, Bethel Horizons – Art Ventures, Program Coordinator at 608/767-8767 or Pastor Laura Sutherland at 608/257-3577 for details on how to register.
